Excerpt from article.
The top 14 typical whitetail bucks came from just two regions: South Texas and the eastern Panhandle.
A few miles farther south, on the Donley-Collingsworth county line, Ronnie Brown of McLean, hunting the 55,000-acre
Terra Rosa Ranch, spotted a big buck with kicker points sprouting everywhere, stalked within range and dropped the
13-pointer. The buck, with a 26-inch outside spread, is a basic 8-pointer with kicker points off every point.
It gross-scores 175 4/8 B&C--not bad for a buck that ranch biologist Scott Hohensee aged at only 3 1/2 years!
